Country of Origin: Guyana (Demerara region).
Alcohol Volume (ABV): Standard bottling is 40% (80 proof).
Sugar Content: Historically, this rum was known for a high additive content (approx. 35–45 g/L). However, since a rebranding around 2020, lab tests and hydrometer readings show a significant reduction to roughly 6–10 g/L, with some official Swedish lab tests even measuring it at <3 g/L. 
Pairing Recommendations:
Because of its bold, spicy-sweet character, it pairs exceptionally well with robust flavors: 
Savory: Grilled steak, BBQ ribs, and rich, smoky meats.
Spicy: Caribbean staples like jerk chicken or spicy stews.
Cheese: Creamy and pungent varieties like Brie, Gouda, or Blue Cheese.
